Due to the Covid-19 shutdown in Spring of 2020, we had many books that were checked out of the library and not returned. Due to the transient nature of our population, 90% of those books are now lost and our kids have far less books to choose from. We need new books to replace the lost books and to also bring our library up to date with the latest information sources. Having new books with current information in our library supports the Nevada Academic Content Standards in all ways. All of our books are used for our classes and the students take them home to use them with their classwork. They also promote literacy, and content comprehension. Students who love to read, love to learn. Books help minds grow and help kids strive to make a better world.
