All of my students love to print out their work so they can edit their papers before submitting them. They enjoy using different colored pens and highlighters while engaging in peer editing. Often, the library is closed, or it takes time away from class to send them to the library. I have started to incorporate flex seating in my room, and I would like to use the padded desk chair to put at a table to enhance the flex seating options. I would love to be able to laminate student work like propaganda posters and infographics that they create so that they can take them home and their parents can have it as a keepsake. The trackpad would allow me and the students to control the computer and projector from anywhere in the room which would allow me to interact more with students while presenting material. I have students come to me during or right before lunch asking if I have a microwave; the cafeteria does not have a microwave for students to use, and some students' lunch is only able to be eaten after it is microwaved. I would like to be able to assist students' needs by having a microwave that they can have access to.
