Being a speech therapist pre and post pandemic looks very different. Before the pandemic, students had the ability to interact with one another without maintaining distance and share various materials. What I am requesting is the very basics that every classroom should have, but unfortunately is not readily available for all. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a big damper on students learning and overall social-emotional well-being. By having a teachers pay teachers gift card and printer paper, I can continue having engaging material while maintaining the safety of my students. I share one printer with 2 other speech therapists, therefore we go through reams of paper pretty rapidly as we all have 30+ students on our caseloads. Most of our materials are unable to be shared, therefore having readily available materials to print (and paper to go with it) will be greatly beneficial to my students.
