The materials in this project will be used to replace all those we lost in Hurricane Ida. We are a project-based class, where we created lots of different types of creative things to show our understanding of the text we are reading. Since Hurricane Ida, it has been very hard because we lost all of the materials that was purchased over the past 18 years that we use to create those masterpieces. In a world where students are forced to spend so much time showing understanding through writing and tests, our project-based learning helps keep kids engaged and excited about the stories we read. Please help us continue our project-based journey so my students can continue to grow and flourish.
