As a coach of a son that plays hockey, having this equipment would give students the opportunity to learn how to hold a hockey stick, work on hockey skills (puck control and passing), working as a team (building and improving communication skills), and learn the basic rules of hockey. Having this equipment would provide students with a chance to learn how to play hockey and hopefully try out for a local team. Based on the diverse population, this would be a great step towards improving the overall currently limited culture of hockey.
