We love running our school's drama club and this year our excited fourth and fifth graders will be tackling The Wizard of Oz! It is always such a treat to truly bring literature to life for our wonderful 34 kids! We would love to get this project funded, it will provide costumes for the three main rainbow children who narrate the story and apples for the angry tree! Students and parents alike just love to see a book come to life! We may have to record it for our school and parents to see this year thanks to Covid but it will happen no matter what! These students are working hard two extra hours, each and every Monday afternoon to bring this book to reality. It helps students with so many literacy skills like visualization, the set designers must help being the setting to life.
