Our students are at-risk teens and unaccompanied youth who utilize public transportation frequently. We do not offer transportation to school, so many of our students struggle to get to campus. Having them work towards earning a scooter would benefit their grades as well as giving them a tool to utilize in all areas of their lives. Many of our students struggle with basic needs and do not have the support in their lives needed to create the building blocks to be successful adults. If they can learn to work towards something that will grow with them in all areas it would be highly beneficial!
