My students love to cook and be a part of creating yummy recipes. These supplies will give them the hands on opportunity to create their researched recipes. These life skills will benefit them throughout their life, and aid in their independence. Most of my students are picky eaters, I love giving them the chance be a part of making new food and exposing them to something they may not otherwise taste. Following a recipe is providing them with math skills, reading skills, following directions, social and functional skills and exploring different foods.

About my class
