The students will be encouraged to read daily to reach their goals. As they see the prizes and the others that have earned them, they will want some of their own. This will help them attain those smaller weekly goals to be able to reach their final 6 week goals. As those weekly goals are met with ease, their 6 week goals will be obtained much easier. Having the vending machine will allow me to provide those prizes that they have earned. The 3 compartments will allow for a variety of prizes that are not only cute, but useful in the classroom as well.
