In modern classrooms, we are seeing an increasing need to help students make the connections between content areas. Over the past year and a half, students learning has been hindered by distance learning and lack of activities to connect to the curriculum. Through our project-based learning activities involving 3D printers, students will learn about the technology and exciting powerful new design software. A variety of step-by-step classroom projects will help students explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while enhancing language arts and reading. Combining literacy goals with robotics, science, social studies, and math is a great way to help students see the lessons learned are important and transferable to any subject. I am also interested in bringing in robotics to the classroom. The robot I am requesting is an engagingly sophisticated learning robot that will inspire creative problem-solving. The students will be able to engage and build coding proficiency and transfer from Block-Based coding to text-based JavaScript. Thank you for your support in helping my students advance technologically into the 21st Century through project-based learning activities These resources will go far in helping my students make real-world connections after more than a year of pandemic learning. These fun-educational projects will help with students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being that has been impacted as a result of COVID-19.
