As a first year teacher I want to give my 110% to my students, everyday I am learning new things to try out in the classroom, and the number one thing I have learnt is that not everyone learns the same. I want to give every single one of my students an opportunity to be able to reach their goals in reading, writing, math, and science/social studies. I want their minds to be able to think about side of the square box, I want to be able to give my students everything they will need to have a successful 3rd grade year, especially after the last year we had with being online. Not everyone is yet on par with the 3rd grade education levels, but I want to pull them back up, and push them towards 4th grade and beyond. Giving them the best foundation they have to be able to overcome any problems. The items in my cart, are a wide variety of classroom management, organization, supplies, and prizes to reward to hardworking students! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The certain task cards I have picked out will help my struggling readers identify themes, context clues, inferences, and much more, so they can be more successful in understanding language but as well as enjoy it more and more! The lego STEM set, and manipulative I have picked out will help me engage my not so engaging students into being able to solve problems at a different angle, and help them enjoy school and learning! These students deserve the best education and the best teaching I can give them!
