My classroom was destroyed in Hurricane Ida, and I have been assigned to a "new" classroom in another building on my campus. In addition, the two high schools in our parish are platooning. These items will make my new "classroom" feel more comfortable. The materials that I've selected will help create a warm classroom atmosphere. I am sharing my classroom space with another teacher on a platooning schedule, with each teacher alternating teaching days. My students miss our old classroom, and while we're grateful for a "new" classroom, it feels like a sterile, cold space.
