The portable sound system and laptop are foundational tools in providing the students a space to learn and demonstrate their understanding of music through presentation (MU:Pr4.1.1, MU:Pr4.5.3). Our students attend music class not only as an elective, but often times choose to return to the music room during free time for personal growth in the arts. The laptop is where the lecture and direct instruction will begin while the portable sound system is where the students can express their personal creativity and demonstrate what their mastery of the concepts taught. Always pushing for personal growth, after performing, the students will receive guidance from teacher and peers to refine their performances (MU:Pr5.4.1).

About my class
