Students love to be read to. Opening a lesson with a Read Aloud helps set the tone for class that day. Sometimes students need inspiration for ideas, suggestions or just for old fashion pleasure reading of a story. When stories are about fictional or real characters they can relate and see themselves achieving or creating dreams or inventions. The students have made comments this year about how the stories are about working hard and dreaming big. They can see themselves in their future careers. WE as educators need to inspire dreamers.
