The materials requested will be used to fulfill a variety of Nevada Academic Content Standards for Computer Science and Integrated Technology, specifically: P1.2 Address the needs of diverse end users during the design process to produce artifacts with broad accessibility and usability. The Samsung tablets and protective cases will allow students to design and produce artifacts using a program called PicPac. Additionally, these will be used as a tool to develop the annual yearbook, as all pictures are completely student generated These are just two examples of the many opportunities these tablets will present for our students.
