Imagine if we can get our students intrigued, interested, and enjoying learning to read!! Imagine if we can help our students learn their numbers in a fun and engaging way!! Imagine if we can get our students to explore pushes and pulls through challenging ramp activities!! Imagine if we can help our students learn through play!! Kindergarten is all about learning and having fun, fun, fun!! These items will set them up for success for the many years of learning ahead. With the loss of learning that happened during the previous two school years, due to the pandemic, these math, science, and ELA resources will set our students up for success with all learning activities. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.2.D Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.1 (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.) CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.2.E Add or substitute individual sounds (phonemes) in simple, one-syllable words to make new words. Count to tell the number of objects. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality. K-PS2-1 Motion and Stability: Forces and Interactions Plan and conduct an investigation to compare the effects of different strengths or different directions of pushes and pulls on the motion of an object.
