All of the materials requested will help students create hands-on projects to help them relate to world history events and United States history. Students will work independently, as well as in groups. Over half of our student population is academically below level. Completing hands-on activities will help them retain information. The sixth graders will make pyramids with information about ancient Egypt. They will also present projects on poster boards that relate to ancient India, ancient Greece, and ancient Rome. The seventh-grade students will act out and record events from U.S. history.
