Working in a self contained SLD (Specialized Learning Disabilities) room, we have a spectrum of different students! Most of those include those with unique learning abilities... Having a color coding system would allow us an opportunity to give our student's a welcoming and individualized learning environment for everyone. The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The organizational crates, laminator, and label maker will be placed on the shelves in the back of our classroom. These will be used to help re-organize our entire room and have everything be consistent which would help give the students some consistency/ stability. These reinforcers will help them achieve intrinsic motivation. Funding my project will help me further my mission to provide a safe space for my students.
