After being out of school for some time due to the pandemic, my students have been more than eager to create and build in ceramics class. They have been researching and coming up with amazing ideas. Allowing students to have access to a variety of cool glazes and new tools, will spark creativity and excitement among the students. The students have wonderful ideas and are excited to create. Students will touch on Nevada art standards such as: VA:Cr2.8.1 Demonstrate willingness to experiment, innovate, and take risks to pursue ideas, forms, and meanings that emerge in the process of artmaking or designing.
