The project materials of a folding bed, bedding and various cleaning implements will allow our students to be active learners. They will be learn to be able to follow visual and written directions, learn daily living and vocational skills within the settings where they learn best. These skills can be learned and then transferred to home and the community. This household set-up will enable them to learn life-long skills needed to be a productive member of a family (personal care and independence) as well as the community (vocational and job training). This project would allow us to teach many skills across our curriculum and involve the students to become independent thinkers as well as workers.

About my class
