I try to provide a safe and comfortable space at school for my students, safe means many different things for my 8th graders. I provide all sorts of things for my students from school supplies, snacks, to personal hygiene products. For some of them a snack helps fill their empty tummies, a notebook to finish assignments, a pair of headphones so they can work during recess along side many others who do not have computer access at home.
Part of providing a safe learning environment is offering my students a variety of items they need to make their day go better. From schools supplies they may have forgotten, or are not able to afford, personal hygiene items, snacks to carry them over to lunch, as well as valuable computer time during recesses and lunch as many do not have computers at home.
