I am requesting an Oculus VR headset for a virtual interpretation of the world and broaden their minds with access to the myriad of unique cultures around the world. By affording my students the opportunity to view the world, its people and cultures through the lens of Virtual Reality my students will gain a greater appreciation for the diverse place in which we live. The classroom is no longer enough to entertain the minds and create perspective for students, through the use of virtual reality my students will be able to understand the multitude of cultures, traditions, and peoples of the world. SS.9-12.WH.19 Analyze the impact of artistic, architectural, scientific, and technological developments on events, peoples, and cultures around the world.

About my class
