The lego sets will be used for building students to design, build, and write. This covers the standard K-2-ETS1-2 which is to develop a simple sketch, drawing, or physical model to illustrate how the shape of an object helps it function as needed to solve a given problem. On top of that the lego sets can also be used for the writing standard W.2.3 write narratives in which they recount a well-elaborated event or short sequence of events, include details to describe actions, thoughts, and feelings, use temporal words to signal event order, and provide a sense of closure. Since the leg sets is a creating a story , children can write stories from the sets that they build. Headphones will benefit the children with their reading fluency as it will be used for whenever they need to listen to an audiobook or answer questions that reads to them. Headphones will also be used for testing and for our center time when they need to use it for there chromebooks. Crayons and scissors are essential 2nd grade school school supplies that are needed for everyday use. Crayons and scissors will be used for students to use to color and cut any activities that need them.
