We live in a community of limited means, and many players purchased their shoulder pads for the 2020 season which was canceled due to Covid. Likewise, the school has a supply of shoulder pads from 2013-2105. They were allowed to use their pads in the Covid abbreviated 2021 season, but all players are required to have shoulder pads that protect against commotio cordis starting this year. Many players will not be able to afford this, and our school will struggle to fill the gap before the start of the season.
