Hello! I teach Kindergarten to 15 wonderful kiddos this year. For most of these babies Kindergarten is the first year that they are expected to sit down in a chair, at a table, for long increments of time. I don’t think it’s any surprise that this is something 5 and 6 year olds struggle with. I also have several kiddos every year that are diagnosed with ADHD. These children are often out of their seat, and walking around the room just to get some wiggles out. I am starting this project in order to get some help ordering some flexible seating options for my classroom. These will help my students stay focused during instruction, be comfortable while they learn, and keep them engaged to difficult subjects they are not used to learning. I would love any support that anyone can give! Thank you so much!
