The Visual Art class at Innovations International Charter School of Nevada where I teach is a concurrent classroom which means I am teaching both "online" and "in person" children at the same time. I have 17 classes this year. It is difficult for the "online" students to see any of my attempts at teaching them to draw, unless I stand in one place all the time. I lose the other "in person" children, if I do not walk around monitoring and helping them. I have been researching how to improve this situation, reading about how other Art Specialists teach both virtually and in person simultaneously. The I Pad is the only solution for this dilemma that I found in my research. From what I read about the I Pad is that I can carry it around the classroom and actually draw on it. Then, the drawing would be transferred to the television for all to see. Hence, I would not have to stay in one place. This would make a huge difference in my teaching visual Art to all at the same time.
