Students are issued Chromebooks by the school, but many times come to school with their devices not charged and cannot participate in the lesson. The ability for students to charge their device at the table where they are working removes built-in obstacles for lack of engagement. Furthermore, the charging station allows students to remove their personal device from their person for the period so they can be less distracted during instruction. Finally, the presentation tool allows me to move throughout the classroom and control my device from any point in the class so I can interact with my students on a more frequent basis.
