Nevada Pre-K content standard 8.0 Speaking (8.PK.1) speak with increasing clarity, ease and accuracy, and give clear directions. Because my students have severe speech delays we work at a table for speech therapy then the students get an opportunity to play with their peers to practice their speech skills during play. The table will provide a comfortable space for my students. The blocks and building materials will help facilitate group activities that will require my students to practice their speech skills with their peers. These materials will give my students many opportunities to communicate with each other.
