These resources will provide students the opportunity to learn to play an instrument that they otherwise might not be able to do outside of school due to their family's financial situation. Having electric guitars for students to use while at school broadens their horizons and fulfills a need that is currently underserved yet sought after by students interested in learning to play music but who are lacking the resources and opportunity to do so. Most importantly, these resources would help to build a music community within our school by giving students a sense of belonging as they learn to play the electric guitar and collaborate with fellow student musicians.

About my class
