The need is more related to the WIDA standards. My students are English language learners. Some of them moved to the United States in March 2020. They registered to start school on a Friday to start on Monday. The night before they would start school, our Govorner shut us down. Trying to teach a student the English language while trying to teach the technology proved to be an impossible task. These students need every moment I have available to try to make up for lost time. This cart will allow me to more efficiently move classrooms with all of my technology and materials to provide language instruction to my students. I have also requested headphones. These will be used for students to do their Wida testing in larger groups to minimize time spent out of their classes for testing.
