I want to give my students the opportunity to plant, grow, harvest, and prepare their own fresh vegetables while they conduct experiments on their plants to determine what effects light, water, and nutrients have on plant growth. (2.LS.2.1) My students are infinitely curious about the world around them, but because of COVID, their learning has been stifled. The hydroponics plant-growing system will allow my students to discover the joy of growing their own delicious, nutritious foods in a controlled environment.
