These books will continue to diversify our classroom library by giving students an abundance of intriguing new selections. Our classroom library is a place where students really enjoy to read independently. Every student book that is placed within our library is treated with love and care. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind through a Reading Interest Survey and observations of what they check out from the school library. In addition, I have asked what type of books they would enjoy reading. My goal is that my students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independently reading. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. My goal is to add books that interests them to make reading enjoyable. The best way to increase reading stamina is to read more with books that are of enjoyment. These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
