Research and years of teaching experience show that students with ADHD, autism and those dealing with stress and anxiety struggle with focus and staying on task in the standard student desk placed in classroom. This year in particular, after a year and half of learning from home, I see my students struggling to remain focused throughout the period. They are are often out of their seats and struggle to stay on task with what they are working on. Flexible seating would really help my students with their anxiety and focus difficulties.
