After a year of online learning, my students are struggling with basic reading skills. Due to financial hardships, they do not have books at home. I want to give them the tools they need to be successful with basic reading skills at home. I would like to promote writing creativity and I believe printing out their projects in color will excite them! Books, prizes and a printer will definitely be a hit in our classroom! I cannot wait to see their excitement when they see the book they will be receiving and the toys that will be added to their treasure box. RF.1.4 Read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension. W.1.5 With guidance and support from adults, focus on a topic, respond to questions and suggestions from peers, and add details to strengthen writing as needed.
