This Microsoft Surface Pro will allow me to circulate the room offering instant feedback on their writing, keeping students informed of their grades and progress, while also being able to troubleshoot common problems dealing with digital content on the fly. Students will benefit from the decreased time to produce and share feedback and will more likely be able to learn from errors in their writing. This will enable students to improve their writing skills much quicker. This also addresses my student learning goal on improving students' ability to cite evidence and use argumentative reasoning to prove a claim. Feedback is an integral part of improving writing ability and with this device I will be able to shorten the turn around time for students. SS.6-8.EUSH.8 Construct organized explanations for various audiences and purposes using evidence and reasoning.
