Due to the pandemic and lost learning opportunities, it is evident in my class that half of my class is showing a deficit in RF1.2 Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes) and L1.1 Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking. The games and activities that are in my project are the learning games that they need in order to fill the gap from lost instruction due to distance learning and unequal opportunities. The materials in my project are vital to offer the experiences my children need to overcome what they missed last year. The learning games in this project are small group activities that students can use independently so I give individualized instruction to other students. Please help provide my class with these materials to make learning fun.
