I like to make games, sentence builder manipulatives and flashcards, both physical and digital, so that learning a new language isn't just vocab lists you have to memorize. Things like the laminator, its pouches, paper cutter are to make thinks like the sentence builders so that students can practice making phrases in the new language by arranging the cards with the words we have studying. They have preprinted cards they can move around to make sentence and make sure it looks right. I also do an art project with my high level classes when we study impressionism. We talk about the history of art in France and the influence Impressionists has on the art world. Then we go outside and paint in the fresh air and sunshine just like they did.
