These supplies will allow my students the opportunity to expand their creative thinking and allow them to be the critical thinkers they are. My students gravitate towards hands-on projects that involve art, games, and play. Since COVID, our school has not been able to supply the hands-on materials they would have been able to provide in previous years. For example, the art supplies will allow my students to create and become engineers in the classroom. (3-5-ETS1-1.) They love exploring and are always wanting to discover more. The math (3.0A) and P.E. games will allow my students to learn in a fun and engaging way, while working with partners. It's essential that students feel motivated, and allowing them to play gets my students excited to come to school and learn. Lastly, many of my students do not have backpacks and organizing their papers and books has been a tough hurdle. The paper and book organizers will teach my students how to be responsible for their learning by ensuring their supplies are organized and ready to go each day. These supplies would be a tremendous help in our class. My students are extremely innovative and having these supplies would allow them the opportunity to bring more hands-on projects in the classroom, and at home, in a fun and engaging way.
