My class gives students a calming a safe space where they can come to learn how to interact with others, solve problems, and gain valuable skills to manage their social world. It helps them manage crisis, build emotional awareness, and emotional maturity needed to be successful in the community. We build on the strengths they already possess to help them become productive, assertive adults and to help them overcome the struggles they face everyday especially with the challenges the pandemic has imposed on them.

About my class
