These materials will provide my students with hands-on materials to practice math facts at home and at school. Students will practice each day with a partner at their own individual levels, which are color coded and user-friendly. Students will use the slates and marker while practicing math facts in centers, whole group, and with partners. With these materials my students will be able to add and subtract within 20 by the end of the school year. The hanging shoe holders will house the practice tents and the once-a-week test papers that are color coded to match. I have seen in past years how important it is to have consistent practice with math facts to prepare for multiplication in 3rd grade. My students are eager to begin.
