I am requesting a new easel. The easel is the center of our classroom, where we spend the majority of our day. We do calendar, phonics, phonemic awareness and math in large group on the carpet. With a new easel, I will be able to have all materials at my fingertips, and the students will be able to write to their little hearts content. This easel is not only dry erase, but it also has hooks so we can hang chart paper, a flannel board, or another dry erase board. It also has containers to house all my teaching tools.
