Research has shown that reading is essential to help build a variety of skills such as communication, comprehension, story retell, vocabulary, and world knowledge. With these new books, I can target multiple goals at a time in a fun engaging way. Now that we are back to in-person learning, my students are ready to learn and will enjoy accessing new materials. Many of my students come to school lacking foundational language skills and world knowledge. Books are a perfect way to increase these skills and build a love for reading!
