These hygiene items will eliminate student absences, and allow our students to have their needs met while at school. Many of our students have barriers that prevent them from coming to school and hygiene products are one of many of those barriers. Our school population is 75% African American, 15% White, and 10% Hispanic. Our students complete their work through online submission. The earphones will assist them while in class. Many of our students have a reading assist on their computer, and the reading assist reads their work to them, and they can have passages read as many times as they need it. This allows our students to have the privacy they need, and most of all allows for them not to be teased by other students because of any reading disabilities.
