Hi. I taught first grade in the inner city for 17 years, took a few years off, and realized I really missed teaching. I love teaching first grade because I love teaching kids to read. At the end of each year, I have a room full of students who can read, and that really makes me feel like I have done something worthwhile. I am so excited to be returning to the classroom to teach first grade.
