If our project is fully funded, we will be able to purchase materials such as magnetic whiteboards, letter recognition boards, timers for our students who struggle with executive functioning/organizing their time, and phonics manipulatives. We also are excited to buy books for all our grade levels to teach to their level. This will allow them to read appropriate books for their level of understanding and comprehension. These materials will go a long way to assist us in supporting our special education students. The students we work with are always excited to use materials that are not the “paper and pencil” style of learning, and these materials will inspire them to try their best and keep them actively engaged.
