As a math teacher, I always think of something new that will help me engage my students in class. Most of the time, I like my students doing it hands-on because learning is retained more, than by just doing it online. It also helps them think critically when they use their five senses and it give them excitement when they move and interact with others. I like giving them worksheets and some manipulatives. What I don't like is that I only printed some worksheets with black and white ink because that's the only available ink I have in school. Sometimes, when I want to provide printed pictures to students, they can't associate the colors and of course, they find it not pleasing. This is the reason why I want a colored printer. Visual learners love to see things that have a lot of colors; it attracts them. These are my students. They like to see bright colors and that's what I want to provide to my students. I don't want to limit the instructional materials that I am giving to them. Also, I need posters for my classrooms to make my classroom more conducive to learning and now, anytime they can look at some of the basic topics in Algebra. More materials are a need especially when I'm assigning collaborative work for my students.
