The materials I have requested will help students learn how to be more independent with identifying and writing their upper and lower case letters of the alphabet. The paper money and plastic coins along with the cash register and ATM will help them be more independent in the community when they must purchase items for themselves in grocery stores or when they go to restaurants. It is a must that students with special needs learn how to write their names and access their community by learning how to use money.
