These toys/materials will encourage my students to practice a variety of skills such as fine motor, math, writing, social/emotional and language. Inviting and well-stocked centers will spark their curiosity and promote all the above skills. It will allow me to rotate the materials so my students are never bored. With children who have short attention spans, I need to make sure all the activities/lessons I plan are engaging and fun! Manipulatives can provide just that. Plenty of age-appropriate manipulatives shall be available to the students to inspire them in their growth (1.PK.3b; 1.PK.4a; 4.PK.1a; 1.PK.1; 1.PK.2; 2.PK.4).
