My students use their Chromebooks daily in the classroom. We use Chromebooks for assessments, online interventions, and during lessons. During times when we have to be out of school, I assign digital lessons and have zoom meetings so that my students can continue their learning at home uninterrupted. Chromebooks are an engaging tool that keeps students interested and involved throughout the lesson. They provide them with access to technology that will aid them for the rest of their lives. A key aspect of a smooth lesson and well managed class is students having charged Chromebooks or access to a charging station. Often students' Chromebooks die during the lessons because they were not adequately charged. When we plug in the Chromebooks the students are scattered around the room and there are cords running across the floors. This poses a hazard to anyone who enters our classroom. Please help me provide a charging station for my students' Chromebooks so that we can charge the Chromebooks safely and get through our lessons smoothly.
