Kindergarten is a foundational experience in elementary school. Children are learning to express themselves verbally, emotionally, and physically. Currently, we have a shortage of items needed to give students the room to express themselves. This is where my project comes in. The items I've requested will allow students to express themselves in all aspects. These include play-doh, fidget toys, flexible seating, white boards and markers, and many more. Using clay gives students the option to model 2 dimensional shapes. Having fidget toys gives students that can't sit still an outlet to channel that energy into. A bean bag chair will give students that need a break somewhere to sit and recuperate. Each of these items serve one main purpose: to give students the chance to express themselves.
